Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics
ABARE is the largest economic commodity research agency in Australia. The reports from the three major directorates (Industries, Natural Resources and Trade and International Policy) can be ordered electronically, using Adobe Acrobat, or by ordering the hard copy. Individual prices vary.
Australian Bureau of Statistics
This site offers information on ABS products, and statistics relating to Australia and the States. It provides statistics on the census, population, health, welfare, labour force, tourism, manufacturing, building approvals, motor vehicles and much more. There are also links to the statistical agencies for other countries.
Australian Institute of Criminology
According to the AIC, it is "the national focus for the study of crime and criminal justice in Australia and for the dissemination of criminal justice information." The Australian Institute of Criminology conducts criminological research, communicates the results of the research, conducts or arranges conferences, seminars or training courses, and publishes material arrising out of the AIC's work. Publications include Trends and Issues in Crime and Criminal Justice; Crime Facts Info; Atlas of Crime in Australia; and Australian Crime: Facts and Figures. The Institute also publishes a range of statistics on topics such as corrections; deaths in custody; drug use; drug-related crime; drug-related deaths; homicide and juvenile crime.
Bushlink
"The Bushlink Project is an initiative of the Queensland Government, to provide IT services to the rural and remote Outback." The first project, undertaken in collaboration with the local community and private enterprise, included establishing the Blackall Bushlink Internet Café, which is now closed.
Department of Tourism, Racing and Fair Trading
"The Department of Tourism, Racing and Fair Trading was established in March 2001 to deliver the Queensland Government's tourism, racing, fair trading and liquor programs throughout the State."

It also offers easy access to Australia.gov.au: government services for Australians.
